Natural health and healing have been a passion of Michelle’s for as long as she can remember. Over 25 years ago, she became interested in massage therapy and was fortunate enough to train with the best at Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto. Massage therapy has been a very rewarding experience for her. She is experienced in Swedish and deep tissue massage, joint mobilizations and trigger point work. She enjoys the learning that has taken place and the privilege she has had to help clients heal, relax, relieve pain and increase their body awareness. Everyone is unique and she has grown to appreciate this more and more with each passing year. While raising a family and running a business, she has also continued to further her education and develop her expertise. Some of the skills and modalities she has learned include Dolphin Neurostim, acupuncture, myofascial release, scapular stretch and rotator cuff release, and holistic nutrition. Dolphin Neurostim, also known as micro current point stimulation – MPS, is a blend of needless acupuncture and neurology used for pain and stress management, spinal decompression, scar release and vagal nerve stimulation. Michelle likes to work with the breath to make her treatments more effective. She is focused on providing therapeutic care that releases restrictions in the body and allows for stress reduction, pain relief, improved recovery from trauma, and essentially – optimal health and well being. Afterall, vitality is all about flow.
